A330-200ceo Series : The A330-200 is a midsize fuselage aircraft within the Airbus A330 family, with seats arranged in a dual- aisle format permitting up to 8-abreast seating in a cabin below 5.64 meters (13 ft) of width . All A330 aircraft share the same fly-by wire configuration and utilize the same flight controls and cabin management systems. This consistency makes life easier for pilots and cabin crew and allows them to focus on looking after passengers. Cockpit commonality also reduces training and maintenance costs while maximizing parts interoperability. The typical A330-200 seating arrangement accommodates 210 to 250 passengers, with a maximum capacity of up to 406 travelers. The A330-200 is configurable with the most modern fourth-generation in-flight entertainment, including video-on-demand, as well as mobile telephone and e-mail connectivity via satellite.

Market Overview

The large jet airliner market has been a duopoly between Airbus and Boeing since the 1990s. In the active widebody market, Boeing is king with a 70% market share driven by the Boeing 777 (45%) and the Boeing 767 (17%). The 30% share that Airbus has is driven by the Airbus A330ceo (24%) and the Airbus A350 (6%). Based on order demand, the widebody market is forecasted to transition with the B787 taking 31% of the market share, followed by the A350 with 27%, the B777 with 21%, and the A330 and A380 each taking 7%.  The Airbus A330ceo program was launched with Air Inter in 1994 and, as of 2022, has generated 1486 orders, of which 1465 have been delivered.

Over 688 Airbus 330-200ceo aircraft have been produced as of 2022.  The aircraft was built in passenger, VIP/Business and freighter configurations (n aftermarket conversion is available via STC).  An estimated 634 330-200ceos are still in operation.
